The BDMA held its Annual General Meeting on Friday 6 February 2026 at Blue Tree Conference Room attended by its members who voted in favour of relevant changes to the Constitution and also came up with ideas on the way forward.
ESG initiatives were finalised.
Sports activities for the year were agreed on.
Seminars on the pending Income Tax and VAT Acts were agreed on for information gathering.
The HR SubCommittee action plan to roll out templates for employment contracts based on the new Employment and Labour Relations Act 2025 were agreed on.
Felicitation of Mr Jacob Thamage and Mr Metlha Masire were agreed to be held next week.
The BDMA looks forward to a productive year ahead for the industry membership
